Signia MaX
The Signia MaX is a rechargeable hearing aid that helps you follow group conversations in noisy places, with all-day battery.
The Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX is a rechargeable hearing aid that rests behind your ear with a thin wire and a small speaker in your ear canal. What sets it apart is how it handles busy group conversations: instead of using one process to quiet noise, it runs several smart systems at the same time to keep the voices you want to hear front and center. We fit the Signia MaX at Citrus Hearing Clinic in Clermont.
Built for Real, Busy Conversations
The MaX is the first hearing aid on Signia's newest platform, and its focus is the situation people with hearing loss find hardest: following a conversation when several people are talking and noise is coming from every direction. Rather than treating hearing as a simple matter of turning noise down, the MaX uses four AI systems that work together and share information.
One tracks the voices you are talking with, one handles the sound of your own voice, one reads the room as it changes, and one manages background noise. The idea is to keep you connected to the people around you while still letting you stay aware of the world you are in.
Key Features of the Signia MaX
These are the features that tend to matter most if your hardest listening happens in restaurants, meetings, and family gatherings.
- Follows Group Conversations: The MaX finds and lifts the voices of the people you are talking with, and can keep up as the conversation shifts from one person to another.
- Your Own Voice Sounds Natural: It recognizes when you are the one speaking and keeps your own voice sounding normal, with no special setup needed during your fitting.
- Adjusts as Your Surroundings Change: The hearing aids continually sense your environment and fine-tune themselves as you move between quiet and noisy places.
- Softens Noise Only When It Should: Rather than dampening everything, it looks at what the noise is and where it is coming from, then quiets it without dropping the voices you want to hear.
- All-Day Rechargeable Power: A full charge takes about four hours, a quick 30-minute charge gives you up to six more hours, and the pocket-size charger holds up to four extra charges for travel. Eight colors are available.
- Broad, Future-Ready Connectivity: It streams calls and audio from your phone and other devices and works with hearing loop systems. It also includes the hardware for Auracast, a newer way to receive sound directly in public places, which Signia plans to switch on through a free app update.
Is the Signia MaX Right for You?
The MaX is worth considering if your biggest struggles are in places with several talkers and background noise, or if you want a hearing aid ready to connect with both today's and tomorrow's wireless audio systems. That said, the most advanced hearing aid is not automatically the best one for every person. Your hearing test results, how well you understand speech in noise, the shape of your ear, your listening needs, and how you respond to amplification all matter when choosing the right device.
That is also why the fitting matters as much as the technology. At Citrus Hearing Clinic, we look at your hearing loss, your speech understanding, and the real situations you find hardest before recommending any device. If the MaX is a good match, we program it to your hearing and confirm the settings with Real Ear Measurement, a check that measures the sound actually reaching your eardrum. And because we fit several brands, we will tell you honestly if another option would serve you better.
